Our mission is to love and serve our immigrant neighbors by providing affordable immigration legal services and, together, opening the door to full community engagement.

Open Door Immigration Services (ODIS) was established in 2015 by a community of immigrants at Highrock North Shore Church in Beverly MA (now named Anchor Bay Church), who themselves had experienced the complex and grueling process of achieving legal status. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We received accreditation by the Department of Justice to offer immigration legal services in 2017.

ODIS Today

ODIS is uniquely positioned today to step into the challenge created by constant changing government policies and service cutbacks caused by reduced federal funding. During these difficult times, ODIS is prepared to expand our service area and increase availability of affordable legal services.

Increased client services  through expanded hours to meet a variety of client needs and to provide immigration clients in partnership with places of worship and other community organizations.

Strong system of referrals for more specific legal services and wrap around community services.

Expanded community partnerships with faith communities, businesses, community leaders, and educational institutions

Advocacy for laws and government actions that support our immigrant neighbors, including paths to legal status, safety in our communities, and opportunities for full community engagement.
