Direct immigration legal services and representation.

  1. Know Your Rights. Trainings for individuals, families, and community groups, including Red Cards and Family Preparedness packets in multiple languages.

  2. Assistance with citizenship. Assistance with understanding the complex process of becoming a naturalized citizen, preparing for the citizenship test and interview, and assistance with filing the required documents.

  3. Direct immigration legal services. ODIS does not assist with cases of detention or removal proceedings in Immigration Court. We do assist with all of the following:

    1. Citizenship/Naturalization (N-400 filing and preparation for interview and test)

    2. Petitions to bring immediate relatives (I-130 and supporting documentation)

    3. Consular processing

    4. Green cards for legal residency

    5. Adjustment of residency status

    6. Green card renewals and replacements (I-90)

    7. Employment Authorization applications and renewals

    8. Removal of conditions of residency (I-751 and supporting documentation)

    9. Travel documents/Parole paperwork (I-765)

    10. U Visa for nonimmigrant victims of crime and their families

    11. Representation at USCIS interviews

    12. Resources for the community and advocates

Additional support and community services

We work with a broad network of community services. We are happy to provide resources and referral services to help our immigrant neighbors navigate housing, education, healthcare, food security, etc.
